There are many types of liners available in the market but I am most comfortable with liquid eyeliners as nothing offers the precision of a liquid liner. Getting the hang of a liquid eyeliner can be a wee bit tough but with some practice you can definitely master it. Personally, I prefer liquid liners with a glossy finish and today I’m going to review my favorite glossy liner which is Oriflame Giordani Gold Liquid Eye Liner!

I have never tried any of the Oriflame product so I didn’t really know what to expect. When i first saw the liner, it looked very mystic and for some weird reason reminded me of Aladdin’s lamp 😀 The liner has an opaque gold packaging and comes with a fine tip applicator.

Applying liquid liners is hard enough so I expect them to come with decent applicators which can make the whole process a little easier. The Oriflame Liquid Eye Liner has a very fine tip which helps in drawing the thinnest of lines. I find it quite decent though I still prefer my Lakme Absolute Shine Line applicator to this.

Texture
The texture of the Oriflame Giordani Liquid Liner is a bit thick and a little gloopy. This is definitely the thickest eyeliner I have ever used though that does not mean its a bad thing. It applies evenly and easily but sort of feels like viny. Due to the texture it takes a bit longer to dry as compared to other liquid liners.

Finish
One of the biggest reasons why I adore this eyeliner so much is because of the glossy finish! Whenever, I feel dull or my eyes look too tired I prefer applying the Oriflame Eye Liner as it opens up my eyes and makes them look much more fresh due to the glossy finish.

Pigmentation
The Oriflame ‘Shiny Black’ Liquid Eye Liner has a very intense jet black color. Its gives an opaque coverage in a single stroke so you wouldn’t need to go over the line again which almost always ends up getting messed up! Me likey 😀

Staying Power
Once set the liner does not budge until you rub your eyes :p I splashed water on my face and it managed to remain on my eyes but I accidentally rubbed them and it scraped off. Yep scraped off. Its so funny! The easiest way to remove it is just by rubbing your eyes a little and it’ll “ball up” and no that does not mean you should remove it that way.

I still haven’t come across a glossy liquid eyeliner which is waterproof and this did last longer than the Bourjois Clubbing Eye Liner which is much more costly! However, if you tend to rub you eyes alot or are a cry baby then its best to stay away from this baby!

I wish Oriflame products were more easily accessible. Most of us do not have access to a representative but I’m happy to see that now many of their products are available on Nykaa. Hopefully, they’ll stock this eyeliner soon!

HBM Recommendation: Oriflame Giordani Gold Liquid Eyeliner is an intense black eye liner with a glossy finish. It makes my eyes look much more fresh and applies easily. The texture is a bit thick but does not hamper the application process. However, it is not water or smudge proof so if you’re one of those girls that rubs her eyes alot then you might want to stay away from this. Its my favorite eyeliner these days and I definitely recommend it to those who love black eyeliners with a glossy finish!
