L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Intense Matte Lipstick Pink Passion Review & Swatches- The Best Pinky Coral Lipstick!
L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Intense Matte Lipstick 371 Pink Passion Review, Swatches & Price India
Loreal is one brand that is the most ignored by me(or was until last year) simply because I do not feel the prices are justified for a drugstore brand. I’d rather add a couple of hundred bucks more and buy MAC or spend less and buy Inglot instead. But when I saw this gorgeous pinky-coral i fell for it hook, line and sinker. Plus i got a really good deal on it 😉 So today I’m going to review the most gorgeous shade I’ve ever laid my eyes on- Loreal Color Riche Lipstick in the shade Pink Passion.
Color Riche lipstick combines luxurious colour with lasting hydration for an ultra-glamorous look. The Color Riche Matte Mania range comprises of 7 glamorous shades.
1. Velvety Matte texture.
2. Enriched with Omega 3, 6, and antioxidant Vitamin E: nourishes lips and makes them super soft and supple.
The Loreal Color Riche Lipsticks are encased in a luxurious gold casing which is very classy and elegant. It has a color coded sticker with the shade name below that eases identification. The lipstick closes with a click so it won’t open up in your handbag or clutch. Absolutely ❤ the gorgeous packaging.
LOreal Color Riche Pink Passion Lipstick is a lovely pinky coral which looks different on everybody. On some its a pinky coral and on warmer complexions it more of a bright pastel pink. On me its a gorgeous and bright coral pink that perks up my complexion instantly. It is a wee bit neon but something that can be carried off easily. It might wash out the dusky beauties so its better if they check it at the store prior to buying it.
L’oreal claims it to have a velvety matte texture which is one term that I just don’t understand! How can a lipstick be velvety and at the same time be matte? :p
Anyway it has a super creamy and buttery texture which glides on like a dream. Its the smoothest and silkiest lipstick I’ve ever used. Pink Passion gives a glossy finish which settles into a semi matte finish after a few hours. It hydrates my lips well but tends to settle into fine lines so its best to exfoliate your lips before application.
Pigmentation & Staying Power
The LOreal Color Riche Lipstick is well pigmented and a single swipe gives a nice wash of color which is easily buildable in 2-3 swipes for full intensity. It will cover moderate pigmentation of lips but might not provide full coverage.
The staying power is great and stays put for 4-5 hours with full intensity. After that it settles into a pretty pink lip stain which lasts forever. It does survive small meals and snacks but you will require a touch after a heavy meal.
Love the color but not willing to spend 800+ bucks on it? Well fret not. There’s a really close dupe of it from Inglot. Inglot’s Lipstick Refill# 2 is the closest dupe of Pink Passion though it is a bit more coral in the pan but on my lips they both look pretty much the same. They do differ alot in terms of texture. Inglot #2 is semi matte while Pink Passion is very creamy and glossy. So you can check out the dupe if you want this in a matte finish as well 🙂
1) One of the most gorgeous and prettiest peachy pinks I’ve ever come across
