Oriflame Matte Lipstick Desert Sand has a super smooth and creamy texture. It glides easily on the lips and does not cling to dry patches. Infact, I find it quite moisturizing & I tend to skip my lip balm on days I feel my very dry lips are behaving well. It does not accentuate fine lines either. In my opinion, a great formula being a matte lipstick.

Sometimes looks can be deceiving! Oriflame Desert Sand Matte Lipstick looks like a really dark brown in the tube, a very mature shade. But when applied on the lips, it comes across as a soft brown nude with a hint of peach in it. Desert Sand, is not a ‘pick me up’ color but it is perfect when you are going for bold eyes & nude lips kind of makeup.It could very well be the perfect MLBB color for medium skintone.

I think it holds true for all matte lipstick when I say they are bound to be intensely pigmented.
