Packaging
Oriflame The ONE Foundation comes in a transparent glass bottle with a purple pump dispenser. The pump dispenses adequate product though the foundation tends to accumulate around the nozzle which needs to be cleaned from time to time. I usually do not like glass bottles for travelling but I recently travelled with it and luckily it did not break. These are packaged in a purple cardboard box which mentions all the necessary details.

Texture & Finish
Oriflame The One Illuskin Foundation is of medium consistency ie it isn’t runny nor too thick. It blends easily into the skin, even with fingers and does not need any of those fancy brushes for perfect application. The foundation provides a dewy to almost satin finish depending on your skin type and looks very natural. My skin has been getting a bit dry in this weather and this looks more satin on me. It will suit normal to combination skin type really well and those with dry skin will need a moisturizer underneath while those with oily skin might need to set it with powder.

Shades
The new Oriflame Foundation comes in 4 shades which is a bit of a bummer as there aren’t any options for the dusky beauties. I can make Porcelain work for my skintone though its still a bit ashy for me but Natural Beige suits me like a dream. Nude Pink is the only shade with a pink undertone while Olive Beige almost looks a bit grey to me. I wish they work on the shade selection to suit the Indian market better. For people like me with a warm skintone I would suggest Natural Beige as the safest bet.

Coverage & Staying Power
These foundations have a sheer to medium coverage depending on the amount you use. These are ideal for daily wear as it provides decent coverage without looking too made up. It also has SPF 20 making it perfect for the day but that also means you should avoid wearing it for parties as it might flashback. The staying power is decent for a day foundation and it lasts upto 5-6 hours on me in this weather. I’ll probably need to powder it in summers as I have a feeling this will most certainly make my face oily in those warmer months.

Pros
1) Has the perfect consistency and blends easily into the skin
2) Gives a natural dewy finish perfect for winters
3) Decent coverage, ideal for daily wear
4) Does not settle into dry patches
5) Good staying power
6) Not crazy expensive especially if you manage to buy it when on offer

Cons
1) The shade selection needs to be improved

HBM Recommendation: Oriflame The ONE Illuskin Foundation is of medium consistency and provides a sheer to medium coverage. It gives a natural dewy-satin finish which is perfect for the winters. I quite like it as a daily wear foundation and would totally recommend it if you find a shade that suits your complexion.
