Packaging
Like all Colorbar products this blush too comes in a metallic silver packaging with a transparent lid which eases identification. It does not contain a mirror nor a brush and since most of the brushes we get along with the blushes are useless, I am not complaining but I sure would’ve liked a mirror for touch ups. I’ve dropped this one and luckily it survived the fall so yes the packaging is not flimsy and travel friendly.

Shade
Colorbar Illusion Blush in Everything Rosy is a medium toned pink with a plum undertone. It contains very fine silver shimmer which isn’t that visible upon application. It has more of a satin finish which I like. However, it will only suit medium to dusky complexion as its wayyy too pigmented for lighter skintones and will make you look bruised 🙁 That is the biggest reason why I had to give this away!

Texture
The Colorbar Cheek Illusion Blush has a soft and smooth texture. Due to the soft texture it does kick up a bit of product during application however it isn’t too powdery and blends well. It did not break me out and despite being a powder blush it does not emphasize my pores.

Pigmentation
Colorbar Everything’s Rosy is highly pigmented and that isn’t really a good thing. Since its quite a deep colored blush you have to apply this with a very light hand or else you’ll end up looking like a clown. However, it will show up extremely well on deeper skintones making it a must have for dusky beauties.

Staying Power
The Colorbar Blush has a great wear time and stays put for about 4-5 hours without a base and a primer! With a base underneath it lasts much longer making it a perfect party wear blush. It fades evenly and does not get patchy.

Ignore the goosebumps :p This was clicked on a cold wintery day!

Worth the price?
Well no, not really. I will never be happy about spending over 600 bucks on a drugstore brand but I guess we need to accept the harsh reality as Maybelline is the only brand that comes out with affordable blushes. Atleast, the quantity is huge so you for sure won’t be able to hit the pan anytime soon!

Pls ignore the heavy handed application. Its just too pigmented for my skintone 🙁

HBM Rating
3.5 / 5(Reviewed by Lisha B.)Colorbar Cheek Illusion Blush Everything’s Rosy Review & Swatches

HBM Recommendation: Colorbar Cheek Illusion Everything’s Rosy Blush is a medium pink blush with a plum undertone. It shall suit medium to dusky beauties quite well and is long staying. Since its quite pigmented I suggest fair/light skinned girls and beginners to steer clear of this
