It is mostly believed that the color white is pure and black is evil yet these 2 colors, which are as different as can be, look absolutely incredible when paired together. Probably proves the yin and yang philosophy which states opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary and holds true not just for people but shades as well. It is absolutely no surprise that I love rocking black and white prints and what could be better than a black and white Aztec print? 🙂 I have played up with black and white before and you can check that OOTD here.

For today’s outfit I chose this fabulous playsuit by ASOS for a day out with my girlfriend. Its airy, comfortable and short making it perfect for summers. It’s probably a little too short especially for Delhi but since it is a playsuit/romper I don’t feel that conscious in it. The size is perfect and feels almost customized .I like how it fits my waist and then flares out towards the bottom. It has a side zipper for the perfect fit and what attracted me the most was the multi strap design besides the Aztec print. Aztec + Playsuit: Perfection!

Personally, I prefer wearing high heels with short dresses as it gives me a total boost of confidence and when it comes to heel, the higher the better. For this tiny number I brought out my highest black pumps from Sammydress. The are surprisingly comfortable and no I haven’t fell flat on my face..yet 😀 I love the dainty strap detailing and it has a red sole which I’m sure would make many Christian Louboutin dupe lovers excited 😀
I kept my accessories minimal and paired it with a dainty ‘Scorpio’ necklace by Addons which I’m totally obsessed with these days. It is so girly, pretty and the stones are beautiful etched on the sun sign. The necklace goes pretty much with all my outfits and the best part is that does not oxidize which is an issue with most of the artificial jewellery! They have similar necklaces for other sun signs as well and I recently gifted one to a friend who totally loved it! Addons has 2 exclusive stores in Delhi which are located at Pacific Mall, Rajouri Garden & Kamla Nagar Market.
I chose a studded black sling back for this look which has also been featured here. I love the stud detailing which looks quite chic and I pretty much pair this with most of my outfits whenever I’m in doubt. I also wore a statement black ring and a delicate watch by Espirit to complete the look.
For my makeup, I went for thickly kohl-ed eyes which was then lightly smudged, lots of mascara, pinky-peach gloss (Maybelline Lip Polish Glam 9) & soft pink cheeks. I have many more summer-y OOTD treats lined up for your guys before the dreary winters come upon us so watch this space for more 🙂
