OOTD: I Heart Neutrals!

Indian Fashion Blog OOTD: Mixing up Neutrals!

Just when everyone thought that winters are well and truly on its way out, the chill sets in. The past few days in Delhi have gotten me shivering with cold but its also given me the chance to play up with warmer shades again. As you know I’ve been lusting over brown for quite some time now and this mocha goodness looks so good in winters. Fashion is all about breaking the rules and this season I have been pairing black and brown oh so often. If you’ve been thinking that black and brown, the neutrals should never be paired together, then think again!

The safest way to mix black and brown together is through accessories, animal prints or just a scarf. For this particular look, I paired a basic black leather jacket with a peach-shimmer pullover from Aeropostale. It not only keeps me warm but looks great together despite the full neutral palette.

To add a bit of pizazz, paired it with my faux leopard print leggings and black block heel boots. For the accessories, again played with the black and brown combination. The tan leather tote compliments the black boots quite well. Also wore a vintage Audrey Hepburn ring with a black and brown arm band.

My love for browns and neutrals carried on to the makeup as well. Many feel brown eyes or lips can be boring but I beg to disagree. I wore this beautiful nude-brown by L’Oreal Paris called Nature’s Blush plus it has a personalized casing with my name on it which makes it all the more special. You too can get your personalized L’Oreal Paris Lipstick online at Nykaa.

For the eyemakeup, I stuck to the neutral colors with a brown slightly smokey eyemakeup with falsies and no liner. Kept my waterline bare as well with lots of mascara. Completed the look with some heavy contouring. I do apologise for my hair, its been such a task maintaining them as my waves are no more as pronounced as they used to be. In other news, this is last time you’re seeing me blonde. I showed you a sneak peek of my new hair on Snapchat and will be posting a better picture on Instagram soon
