With NYX being available more easily in India, now we too can get excited about its new launches and products. They recently launched a gorgeous range of blushes called the NYX Ombre Blushes which were a part of their Spring Collection 2016. I’ve always been a huge fan of NYX blushes so when the NYX India team sent across this gorgeous baby to me, I just had to use it instantly. Read on to know if its worth buying.

Packaging
The NYX Ombré Blush comes in a black compact packaging which is simple yet cute. It contains a decent sized mirror and the blush looks very fancy due to the gradient effect. It starts off with the highlighting/lighter shade and blends into the darker/blush shade. The packaging is travel friendly and the mirror aids touch up on the go.
Shade
NYX Ombre Blush in Nude to Me is the perfect shade for warm and Indian skintone. It has a gorgeous gold highlighter on one end and a nice bronze-y color on the other. The shades can be used individually or swirled together for a beautiful warm-bronze glow which looks amazing on deeper skintones. It also works really well as a bronzer and is perfect for parties. Though the Ombre Blushes are available in 8 shades but I could find only 2 on Nykaa. I’m hoping that the rest are sold out because I’d be disappointed if they have launched only 2 shades in India.
Texture
The NYX Ombre blushes have a very soft texture which blend easily. Nude to Me can be a bit chalky so make sure you dab off the excess from your brush before applying. Since the color is very shimmery, I feel it does accentuate my pores a bit but looks much better if applied with a good primer underneath. The shimmer is finely milled and does not look chunky or OTT.

Pigmentation & Staying Power
NYX Nude To Me Ombré Blush is highly pigmented. It shows up beautifully even on darker complexions hence should be applied with a light hand. As for the staying power, I get a wear time of about 5 hours which is amazing for a drugstore brand. NYX products always score well in all aspects and I love the amazing shade range that they provide.

HBM Recommendation: The NYX Ombre Blush in Nude to Me is a gorgeous warm bronze color which works well as a highlighter, blush and bronzer on the Indian skintone. It is well pigmented and stays put for a good amount of time.
