My Khoobsurat Moment!
Its funny how a little change can make a big difference to your attitude, add a lil spring to your step and make you just so.. happy! I spend hours everyday obsessing over my hair, not because I like my tresses but because they are so unmanageable and they tend to take up 80% of the time I spend getting ready.
As you all know I recently colored my hair with L’Oreal Paris Casting Crème Gloss (check my experience here) and it has not just added more definition to my hair but has also made it quite glossy. I have started spending a lot less time fussing over my hair and these days I leave my house with a big smile on my face. To add to it all I was able to achieve all this by colouring my hair at home! I didn’t even have to go to a stylist to do it.
PS: This pic was clicked in a hurry hence the tired/sad expression :p
I strongly believe in the power of attraction and I totally agree with the statement stated in The Secret which says ‘like attracts like’ I’ll quote an example to prove the point. This happened couple of days back when my friends kept remarking how the hair color made my waves looked more defined and lustrous so I was naturally quite stocked when I left for an event with my *new hair* I felt really beautiful and pretty much every girl at the event complimented me be it about my hair, dress or even makeup! Hence when YOU feel good about yourself others will too!
Incase you are wondering about the makeup, I am wearing a BB cream, with a blue eyeliner, lots of mascara and a peachy pink lipgloss. Check out Get The Look for many more beauty tips. Though the hair color isn’t that noticeable in the pics and only shows up well if I get clicked with flash or in natural light but I hope you can make out the hint of plum in the below pic 🙂
Probably the most *Khoobsurat* moment for me was when Ms. Tracey Poole who is one of the most respectable names in the hospitality sector complimented me on my look and totally made my day! Its something I’ll always cherish and I wanted to share with you girls. As a parting note, I would urge you all to be happy and content no matter what life throws your way as ‘your thoughts become things’ 🙂 Oh and since I am really high on my hair(ok that sounded lame) I hope I manage to attract more khoobsurat moments in the future! 🙂
PS: I have done an OOTD with this maxi dress before which you can check here
