Product Description
The Rouge Caresse lipstick has a flutter of kissable, soft, colour. Its delicate texture glides onto lips creating a veil of colour with a luminous shine. It adds a desired pop of color with a meltingly soft application.

Packaging
The L’Oreal Rouge Caresse Lipsticks come in a transparent packaging with a silver bullet. Its reminiscent of their Infallible Lipsticks. The lipstick has a color coded sticker below which makes life much easier incase you own more than 1 of these(like me). The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly as the cap shuts tightly and won’t come off on your handbag.
Shade
L’Oreal Aphrodite Scarlet is a juicy watermelon pink ie a warm rosy pink which shall flatter all skintones. Its the prettiest, summery shade which I’m sure many of you would love to rock! I love the fact that Aphrodite Scarlet isn’t cool toned like Rose Mademoiselle making it suitable for the warm Indian complexion!
Texture
L’Oreal Rouge Caresse Lipsticks have a beautiful lightweight texture which feels and hydrates like a lip balm! It isn’t sticky at all and neither does it emphasize or settle into fine lines. The texture is quite comfortable to wear and gives a glossy finish to the lips!
Pigmentation
Being a sheer lipstick its quite decently pigmented. You can get a good color pay off in 2-3 swipes which will cover minor pigmentation of the lips. However it does not give an opaque finish so those with pigmented lips should steer clear of this. Personally, I loved its color and pigmentation the best out of all the shades I’ve tried from this range!
Staying Power
Aphrodite Scarlet has a great wear time and it stayed the longest out of all the Rouge Caresse lipsticks I’ve tried! It easily lasts upto 4hrs with a hint of fading which is great for a sheer lipstick. However, it does not survive meals or snacks but leaves a pretty pink lip stain hence you do not require an immediate touch up!

2) Creamy texture which does not tug or pull
3) Does not settle into fine lines and is moisturizing
4) A perfect everyday wear shade
5) Sheer to buildable pigmentation
6) Decent wear time and leaves a pretty stain after fading
7) A pretty and travel friendly packaging
8) Comes in a good variety of shades
Cons
1) Will not suit pigmented lips

HBM Recommendation: L’Oreal Rouge Caresse Aphrodite Scarlet Lipstick is a gorgeous watermelon pink which will flatter all skintones. This summery shade is the best color out of the whole L’Oreal Rouge Caresse Range IMO. It has a sheer to buildable formula along with a decent wear time. Personally I couldn’t find any fault with it and I highly recommend it to everybody that do not have pigmented lips!
