I recently, ok not so recently talked about Jafra and showed you all the fun and pampering we had at their bloggers meet. Well I was provided with some products from their bath & body range and today I’m reviewing a fabulous shower gel from their SPA range called JAFRA Ginger & Seaweed Bath & Body Shower Gel.
Product Description
This incredible formula is a foaming, gentle body wash with Hawaiian sea plant extracts to help moisturize the skin. Experience the sensory benefits of aromatherapy. Enriched with skin-nurturing seaweed, this bath and shower gel cleanses and leaves skin moisturized all over. Complements the scent of Ginger and Sea Salt Body Rub.

Packaging
The Jafra Shower Gel comes in a tall translucent plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The pump dispenser can be locked which though is convenient for travel purposes but since the bottle is bulky I doubt if anyone would like to carry it on a trip. The bottle mentions all the necessary details like claims, expiry date, price etc.
Texture & Scent
The Jafra Ginger & Seaweed Shower Gel is pale green in color and is slightly runny in texture. It spreads easily on the body and lathers extremely well. I always prefer body washes/shower gels that lather well and do not require alot of quantity.
Jafra Ginger & Seaweed Shower Gel
It contains ginger and seaweed and doesn’t really smell spicy but it sure has a very refreshing scent. Its not floral, woody or musky but something very fresh and enlivening. I really like the scent and it makes sure I start my day on a very refreshing note.
Efficacy
The Jafra Ginger & Seaweed Bath & Body Shower Gel adequately cleanses the skin without drying it out. I have normal skin type and it feels pretty moisturized hence I have avoided applying a body lotion in this hot weather. The shower gel leaves my skin squeaky clean and does not leave an icky film behind.
Availability & Price
The Jafra products are only available through their consultants which is a bit of a bummer but you can always find a consultant nearest to you on their website. The price is on the higher side even though a little goes a long way and the quantity provided is good enough to last 3 months.

HBM Recommendation: Jafra Ginger & Seaweed Bath & Body Shower Gel is a very refreshing body wash and enlivens my day. It lathers well and adequately cleanses the skin without drying it out. I love how pleasant it smells and would definitely recommend it if you want to indulge in some pampering.
