If you’ve been following me on Snapchat or Instagram then you would know all about my 10 day long vacation + shoot. Yep, I’ve recently started dabbling with videos and shot a few for a leading haircare brand in Hyderabad (more deets on this soon). While packing for my trip, I found it such a task to select the makeup items I wanted to take along with me. One of the products that I knew I couldn’t do without was the new Colorbar Diamond Shine Lipgloss for that glossy pout to add a bit of pizzazz. Its surprising that I haven’t reviewed these yet so today I’ll be swatching and reviewing all the shades of these new Colorbar Glosses.

Packaging
Colorbar Diamond Shine Lip gloss is packaged in a long and cylindrical tube with a slanted sponge applicator. I have always been a fan of Colorbar’s silver carton packaging and I’m glad that its been continued with this range as well. It contains the list of ingredients, shade name and other details on it.  Colorbar products always have a minimalistic yet stylish look which I love.

Texture & Pigmentation
The new Colorbar Diamond Shine Lipglosses have a heavy and thick texture which can feel a wee bit sticky. Its hydrates dry lips very well, hence I’ve loved using the new range this winters. The color pay off varies from shade to shade but most of the shades have a sheer to medium pigmentation. I majorly use these lip glosses over a lip pencil or lipstick to add shimmer and oomph to my pout.

Staying Power
Since the glosses are a bit heavier in consistency, the product adheres to the lips much better and stays put for 3-4 hours. Usually lip glosses last only 2 hours or so on me so I’m pretty satisfied with the wear time I get from this range. However, if you have a full meal then the lipgloss does wipe off. Colorbar Diamond Shine Lipgloss 001 Iconic: One of the pigmented shades in the range, this is beautiful red with a slight pink undertone with shimmer.
Colorbar Diamond Shine Lipgloss 002 Nude Glow: My favorite from this range, this is a pinky nude lip gloss with pink shimmer.
Colorbar Diamond Shine Lipgloss 003 Irish Pink: A sheer pink with a gold hue. Its perfect for layering over neutral lip pencils.
Colorbar Diamond Shine Lipgloss 004 Pixie Pink: A light bubble gum pink with silver shimmer which will flatter young girls.

Colorbar Diamond Shine Lipgloss 005 Pink Flash: The range contains many pinks and this one is an in between of Irish Pink & Pixie Pink
Colorbar Diamond Shine Lipgloss 006 Nude Coral: This is a yellow toned lipgloss which isn’t coral at all. Not a fan of this shade but might look good over a brown lip color.
Colorbar Diamond Shine Lipgloss 007 Lucent Brown: It is a very shimmery light brown lip gloss.
Colorbar Diamond Shine Lipgloss 008 Brown Girl: This is another one of my favorites and the swatch does not do it justice at all. It is a beautiful shimmery neutral brown which looks good even when worn on its own.
