Catrice Ultra Fine Ink Liner: Rs 660 for 6ml
I cannot tell you how happy makeup samples in My Envy Box make me especially when its a full sized product! I absolutely adore eyeliners and love trying out new variants every now and then. I loved the Catrice brown eyeshadow that I received in the earlier boxes and I’m excited to give this a try. First Impressions- a jet black glossy formula which sets quickly. If I like it, I’ll review it soon.

Catrice Nail Polish: Rs 445 for 10ml
Now here is when things started going down hill.Though, initially I was very excited over receiving another full sized product but there was something nagging me at the back of my mind. Everytime I receive a full sized product in beauty subscription boxes I always check online for the expiry date through the batch number. The batch sticker on the Catrice eyeliner was very filmsy, it felt like it was stuck on very recently. My fears came true when I removed the sticker on the nail paint.

It was a foil sticker which was stuck upon a label that was previously removed. Foil stickers certainly do not leave a paper sticking behind, do they? Do check out my snapchat (lisha.hbm) to see the entire thing unfold. I’m not sure what to make of this as My Envy Box is a brand I have personally recommended for over an year but this left a bad taste in my mouth.

The rest of the products that I received were the Bioderma Photoderm Fluid, Ananda Facial Moisturiser, O3+ Whitening Mask. I’m not going into further detail about these products as I’m miffed and doubtful about the full sized products that they sent across. Let me know if you have any idea about where I can check the date of expiry of Catrice products, something similar to CheckCosmetics.

Additionally, if you received the Catrice samples, were yours re-labbeled too? I’m sure the brand will have a good explanation for this but for now I don’t see myself very happy with the box which is sad since I did like the selection of products this month.

PR Sample. However, my opinion is honest and unbiased.
