I first heard about it when I received a sample of their lavender body lotion in my June Envy Box and while I am not a fan of lavender but I really loved how soft it made my skin feel. So last month, the brand sent across their Caribbean Ginger Range and today I’ll be reviewing its body lotion.

Packaging
The Kronokare Caribbean Ginger Body Lotion comes in a thick plastic bottle with a flip open cap. Now the packaging is quite simple and not too impressive but that is something I’m ready to overlook as they package their products only in PET(polyethylene terephthalate) or HDPE(high density polyethylene) bottles that are the easiest materials to recycle. Its so rare to come across a brand which is concerned about the environment hence I was quite impressed when I got to know that.

It has all the necessary details like the ingredient list, expiry date, product details etc mentioned on it. The cap shuts tightly and does not leak hence making it travel friendly. However, if you find the bottle a bit too bulky to carry while on the go they also provide travel size options for all their products

Scent
I was a bit hesitant when I got the Caribbean Ginger Range because I have never really experimented with spicy scents . The Kronokare Body Lotion has a light spicy and zesty note to it which sort of smells a bit like lemongrass. It feels quite invigorating and reminds me of a spa as this what they usually smell of 😀 It stays put for about an hour or so and I would’ve liked it to last longer.

Texture
The Kronokare Caribbean Ginger Body Lotion is white in color and has a lightweight lotion consistency. It spreads quite easily onto the body and absorbs quickly into the skin. Its probably a bit more hydrating than an average body lotion but it did not make my skin greasy or make me sweat. I feel its perfect for use in summers and those with oily skin will probably find it appropriate for winters as well.

Efficacy
It adequately hydrates my skin and make it feels quite soft and smooth. I rarely apply body lotions in this weather as I sweat alot but since this is quite lightweight and makes my skin feel baby soft I tend to use it quite regularly. I think the Kronokare Body Lotion is perfect for people with normal-oily skin and they will really enjoy using it.

They believe in using organic ingredients and all their products are SLS & paraben free and most definitely worth a try 🙂
