Texture
The Avene Cleanance Soapless Cleanser is fresh blue in color and is of a runny consistency. All you need is a pea sized amount to adequately clean your face. Mostly SLES free cleansers do not foam at all but this one lathers quite well and adequately removes dirt and grime.

Efficacy
I have noticed it is also good at removing makeup though you might need to use a makeup remover for waterproof makeup. It makes my skin feel refreshed and squeaky clean. I have combination to oily skin and it does make my skin a wee bit dry so those with super oily skin are bound to love it for its effective removal of excess sebum.
Avene Cleanance Gel Review- Best Face Wash For Sensitive Skin
Since it was making my skin a bit stretchy I gave this to my sister who suffers from acne and has very oily skin. No matter what she uses, she ends up breaking out and sticks to only natural cleansers. This however, not only eliminated excess sebum but did not break her out either so highly recommended for those with sensitive skin.

It does seem a bit pricey, but since you only need a small quantity, one bottle will last you a very long time!

1) Will be a bit drying for normal to combination skin type but then it is specifically aimed at oily skin.
2) Contains fragrance which isn’t something I expect in a product meant for sensitive skin
